HENRY KASTLER DEAD OF APOPLEXY
LIFE OF LONG TIME AND ESTEEMED RESIDENT TERMINATED AS RESULT OF STRIKE.
WORKED 25 YEARS TINPLATE
Henry Kastler, 62, died at 11:30 o'clock this morning at his home at 1822 South F street, following a stroke of apoplexy received yesterday morning, in his death the city has lost another of its long time residents and a man held in much esteem.
Mr. Kastler was born in Germany January 24, 1857, and came to this country with his parents when a boy nine years of age.
The family located in Beachville, Tenn., and there he was married February 23, 1879 to Miss Lena Meyer.
SEVEN CHILDREN SURVIVE.
To their union were born nine children, of whom seven, with the widow, survive. The children are: Mrs. Bert Shuck, Mrs Carl Cochran, Mrs. Ellnor Boone, Mrs. Harry Keller, Charles and Henry Kastler, of Woodlawn, Pa. He leaves fifteen grandchildren.
Mr. Kastler removed to this city thirty-four years ago last March, and he has since resided here. For more than twenty-five years he has been an employe at the tinplate and was a man well liked by his associates and a good citizen in every respect.
He was a devout member of St. Joseph's church and was affiliated with the Catholic Benevolent Legion and the Holy Name society.
The funeral services will be conducted at St. Joseph's church Monday morning at 9 o'clock, and the burial will be in the Catholic cemetery south of the city. The bereaved family have the sympathy of their wide circle friends.

FUNERAL OF HENRY KASTLER.
The funeral of Henry Kastler was conducted at St. Joseph's church this morning at 9 o'clock, by Father Beigel and was largely attended by the friends and neighbors of this good citizen. The members of the C.B.L. attended in a body. The burial was in the Catholic cemetery.
