Services for Mrs. Robert (Edna) Herman, 57, Conde resident, were held at 2 p.m., Friday, March 19, at the Conde Methodist Church with the Rev. James Persons officiating.

Burial was in the Conde Cemetery. Paetznick-Garness Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.

mrs. Herman died Tuesday at Sioux Valley Hospital, Sioux Falls.

Mrs. Melvin Rossow, organist, accompanied the soloist, Mrs. Laverne Taylor.

Casketbearers were Florian McPartland, Alvin Knoll, Milton Knoll, Henry Meyer, Wesley Grimes and Lewis Barondeau, all of Conde.

Edna Wettstein was born May 20, 1918, at Conde. She married Robert Herman at Conde. She had lived in the Conde area all of her life. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary of Conde.

Survivors include her widower; her mother, Mrs. Mernie Wettstein, residing at Colonial Manor in Groton; five sons, Douglas of Mountain Hoe, Idaho, Richard and Bruce of Conde, Jerald of Neenah, Wis., and Bill of Conde; two daughters, Mrs. Frances (Marilyn) Priest of Neenah, Wis., and Mrs. Barry (Janette) Imsland of Conde; two brothers; three sisters; 15 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her father, one sister and three brothers.
