Leslie E. Rockwell, 74, of 4251 Owl Creek Road, Lucasville, died Friday at Scioto Memorial Hospital.

A native of Pickaway County, and a a[sic] retired Empire-Detroit Steel Corp crane follower, he was a member of United Steelworkers Local 2116, and a member and adult Sunday school class teacher of Stockdale Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mary Inez Havens Rockwell; two sons, Leslie Lewis of Fredericktown and Steve William of Mansfield; two brothers, Harold of Dayton and Eugene of Owl Creek Road; two sisters, Dorothy Samson of Eaton and Mrs. Robert (Alice) Murry of Dayton; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Service is 2 p.m. Sunday at Erwin-Dodson Funeral Home in Minford, with the Rev. Sidney Snyder officiating, and interment in Owl Creek Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday.
