Donald Wesley Ford of Lequire, Oklahoma was born December 4, 1940 in Wilburton, Oklahoma to Elmer and Alice (Pelky) Ford. He passed away on February 26, 2018 in Stigler, Oklahoma at the age of 77.

He is survived by Brothers: Foyl Ford and wife, Eddie Jean, of Lequire, Oklahoma and Frank Ford and wife, Ila, of Lequire, Oklahoma; Numerous nieces, nephews and relatives.

Wes was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Alice Ford; brothers, John Dee Ford, Adam Ford and Abel Ford; sisters, Ava Shaffer, Alta Shaffer, Abbie Calhoun, Grace Spradley, Robbie Martin and Aileen Ford.

Wes enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching and talking sports, and his greatest love was spending time with his family. Even though he had no biological children, he loved his nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews as if they were his own children. Wes was a very kind hearted man and would help people anyway that he could.

Funeral service will be 2:00PM Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at Mallory Chapel in Stigler, Oklahoma with Denver Bowen officiating.

Pallbearers will be Elijah Ford, Ezra Ford, Brian Ford, Marty Ford, David Ford, Melvin Blaylock, Rick Shaffer, Elmer Ford and Earnest Spradley.
