James J. Loveless, 81, of Lafayette, passed away at 7:56 a.m. on Monday, November 28th at his residence. He was born on May 24, 1935 in Lafayette, the son of Lloyd and Dorothy (Kiste) Loveless. He was a 1953 graduate of Lafayette Jefferson High School. He served in the US Army and was a Sergeant. He was employed by GTE Telephone Company as a lineman. He was married on June 2, 1956 in Lafayette to Darlene Rose Cook, she survives.
Also surviving are one son; three daughters; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one brother. He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
