Blondie was the daughter of Alfred Blaine and Mary Elizabeth "Bethy"(Tabor) Mulanax.
She was a sister to four brothers: Bonnie "Barney", Denver Waymon, Dail and Elton.
She was a wife to L. C. Meredith, Sr. and a mother to L. C. Jr, Alfred Lee and Guindolla "Gwendola". Blondie died suddenly and unexpectedly, and too young at the age of 61 years.

Obituary published on September 16, 1976 in the "Wise County Messenger" newspaper (page 18) in Decatur, Texas (online). "While visiting in Oklahoma, Mrs. Blondie Meredith had a heart attack and was a patient in the hospital until her death Sept. 8 [1976].

Services were held at Sand Springs, Oklahoma. Wallace Clark of Newark [Texas] officiated.

Survivors include her husband; son, Alfred Meredith of Newark; a daughter of Montana and six grandchildren."
