Funeral services were held for a former Sauk Center resident on July 9 at Glendale, Calif. The deceased is Mrs. Ada Perkins, 98, who had lived in Glendale for 33 years. Mrs. Perkins, born at Beaver Dam, Wisc. and who was preceded in death by her husband John B. in 1910, was a resident of Sauk Centre from 1880 to 1919. She died July 7.
Surviving are two daughters, Miss Ada W. Perkins and Miss Janet Perkins. Her two daughters will drive to Sauk Centre with her ashes for grave-side services at the family lot in Greenwood cemetery. As of this writing, the date for services here had not been set.
