Verda is my great-great-aunt.
Verda was born Monday, April 24, 1905 in Aurora, Utah to John Franklin Curtis and Sarah Elizabeth Broadhead. She was the youngest of eleven children.

She married Vincent C. Willardson on July 13, 1927 in the Logan Temple. They made their home in Southern California, where they lived for the rest of their lives. Verda lived at 2741 K Avenue in National City for most of her life, later moving to 3129 Calle Abajo in San Diego. Vince died March 29, 1987. Together they had four children: Erleen Verda, Carma, Ray Vincent, and Janet. Vince and Verda were members of the Republican Party.

Verda passed away peacefully of causes incident to age on Tuesday, February 11, 1997 at her home in St. George, Utah, where she had been living for six months. She was ninety-two years old and the last surviving member of her family.

Funeral Services were held at Greenwood Memorial Mortuary in San Diego, California.
Entombment followed at the Bible Mausoleum on the grounds of the Greenwood Memorial Park.
