Clara Belle Clairmont of Marycrest Nursing Home in Peterborough and formerly of Marmora passed away on Tuesday October 11, 1983 in her 93rd year.

Mrs. Clairmont was born to the late Mr. and Mrs. Adam Doerr and was the wife of the late Joseph Dubord Clairmont.

She is survived by her children Delores (Mrs. Fred Smith) of Belleville; Helen (Mrs. John Raeside) Glasgow, Scotland; Mamie (Mrs. Andrew Noble) of Sudbury; Lewis Nahrgang of Prince George. British Columbia; Lillian (Mrs. Art Logan) of Peterborough and John of Cobourg.

Also surviving Mrs. Clairmont is a sister Priscilla (Mrs. Lewis Dahmer of Kitchener) and 14 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

The funeral service took place at the Cassidy Funeral Chapel on Friday October 14 with the Rev. Walter Mitter officiating.

Interment took place at Sacred Heart Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Pat Logan. Err Nahrgang. Dana Nahrgang. Chris Nahrgang. Bob Noble and Rick Noble.
