PERRI, ANNA JEAN Anna Jean “Jean” Blevins Perri of Westbrook formerly of Guilford, joined her husband, John Perri (Vice-President of Perri Sausage, Co), in eternal rest on Sunday, August 10, 2014. Jean was born in the Spring of 1930, May 3rd in Banner, VA, daughter of the late Mary Elizabeth (McClellan) and Walter Blevins. She passed peacefully and comfortably at CT Hospice, Branford. She leaves heartbroken daughters and a son; Nancy Perri of FL, Paula Perri of Guilford, Beth Petr (Tyrone) of East Haven, Francesca Girven (Todd) of East Haven and son John Perri, Jr (Angela Stricker) of NC and predeceased by a daughter Annajean Perri. She was also predeceased by sisters; Bertha (Stanley), Alma (Carl), Wilma (Mack), and brothers; Robert (Ann) and Paul (Reba). She leaves behind her beloved grandchildren; Jon, Corey, Daniel Petr, Angela Stricker and Annajean Perri, along with many nieces and nephews and loving Goddaughter Carol Prego, lifelong best friend Phillis Weber and a special family friend, Amy Rock-Johnston of WI. She also leaves sister-in-law Nancy Perri Coppola (Gennaro) and brother-in-law, Frank Perri (Medora). Jean worked at Clark Dairy and then Winchester both in New Haven, before marrying in 1952. Jean was known for her never ending love and care for her husband and children. She had many Italian food specialties and was an avid baker. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, camping, playing cards, dancing, traveling and visiting casinos. Jean was active in school functions and community and civic associations (Lions Club, Elks Club, Shoreline Italian American Club, and Shoreline Dancers). Jean was an enthusiastic fan of the New England Patriots and UCONN Huskies as well as many NBA Teams. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. George Church, 33 Whitfield St, Guilford on Saturday, August 16, at 10am. Burial will follow Mass in St. Lawrence Cemetery, 980 Derby Ave, West Haven. Friends may call Friday, August 15 from 4 to 8 pm at the Guilford Funeral Home, 115 Church St, Guilford.
