Norma J. Hornbeck
Norma J. Hornbeck, 85, of Hutchinson, died Wednesday, January 17, 2018, at Hester Care Center, Hutchinson. She was born December 8, 1932, in Hutchinson, the daughter of Allen and Neomia (Burns) Buckley.
Norma was a graduate from Partridge High School. On August 13, 1955, she married Robert C. Hornbeck in Partridge.
Norma is survived by: husband, Robert of Hutchinson; son, Phillip and wife Cindy Hornbeck of Partridge; daughter, Phyllis Keffer and husband Doyle of Hutchinson; brother, Lyle Buckley of Belle Vista, AR; sister, Mary Love of Partridge; grandchildren, Ben Hornbeck and wife Amber of Hutchinson, Mollie Keffer of Kansas City, KS; step-grandchildren, Josh Powell and wife Lindsay of Hutchinson; great-grandchild, Carter Hornbeck of Hutchinson; and step-great-grandchildren, Jordan, Noah, Landyn, and Alissa Powell.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral service will be 1:30 p.m. Monday, January 22, 2018, at Elliott Chapel, with Pastor Jerry Stokley officiating. Burial will follow in Partridge Cemetery. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Elliott Mortuary. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Arthritis Foundation, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS, 67501.
