Mrs. Theodora Eldredge Lawrence of 376 Marlboro Street, died yesterday morning at her home after a short illness. She was a native of Milton. She was the widow of Hooper Lawrence, former president of the Boston Lying-in Hospital. Since his death she had kept up his interest in the work.

She was the daughter of James T. and Ellen Sophia Eldredge. She was interested in the Ellis Memorial which was organized by her sister, Mrs. Franklin Q. Brown, now of Dobbs Ferry, New York. She was also a member of the First Church in Boston from which the funeral will be held on Friday, at 2 p.m.

She is survived by four daughters, Barbara Lawrence, a sophomore at Vassar, Caroline Freeman Lawrence, Theodora E. Lawrence and Frances Ann Lawrence, all of Boston; a son, Thomas who also makes his home here. Two sisters, Mrs. Franklin Brown of Dobbs Ferry, New York, and Miss Elizabeth E. Eldredge of this city and a brother, Col. Edward H. Eldredge of this city also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. H. Hooper Lawrence, who died at her home, 376 Marlboro Street, early yesterday morning, will be held tomorrow afternoon at the First Church in Boston, Berkeley and Arlington Streets.

She leaves four daughters, Mrs. Caroline Freeman, Barbara, Theodora, and Frances Anne Lawrence, one son, Thomas Lawrence, two sisters, and a brother.
