On May 26, 1993 at the Holy Family Nursing Home, Stephania Kwasnicki, age 92 years, widow of Ferdinand Kwasnicki.

Stephania was born in Komarno and lived in East Kildonan. She was a member of Holy Eucharist Church and was devoted to her family and church.

She will be sadly missed by ber daughter in law Stephanie; grand daughters, Valerie Huzel (Norman), Karen Rempel (Paul) of Toronto; great-granddaughters, Elaine and Candace Huzel and her sister Mary Watowich.

She was predeceased by her husband Ferdinand in 1978; her only son Walter in 1987; brothers, Peter Shmigelsky, John Smylie; sisters, Pauline Russin and Anne Smotrycki.

The family wishes to express special thanks and appreciation to the staff on St. John Ward of Holy Family Nursing Home for their loving care and kindness - and to the Sisters for their kind Pastoral Care.

Prayers will be said on Sunday, May 30 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. at Luxton Ave. Divine liturgy will be celebrated on Monday, May 31 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Munroe Ave. and Watt St, with Msgr. V. Bozyk officiating. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Norman Huzel, Henry Dondo, Kenneth Watowich, Walter Wishnowski, Edward Dziedzic and Peter Harrison.

Flowers gratefully declined. If friends so wish, donations may be made to a charity of their choice.
