She was born on Oct. 1, 1944, in Weedville, Pa., a daughter of the late Lloyd B. "Chizzy" and Jane M. (Wilt) Gray.
Connie is survived by her three children, Mark Bonfardine of Luthersburg, Kim Bonfardine of Ridgway and Geno Bonfardine of Oregon; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a brother, Paul R. (Nadine) Gray of Washington, Pa.
Many will remember Connie for her cooking at many local restaurants through the years. She was a member of the Weedville Wesleyan Church and enjoyed the outdoors, gardening and bird-watching.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by four brothers: Donald in infancy, Orlin, Zane, and Lloyd Gray; and five sisters: Cathleen Gray in infancy, June Aiu, Ada Leasgang, Alice Roussell and Pearl Rezsutek.
Connie lived all her life in Benezette until her illness in 2005.
There will be no visitation.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 13, 2018, at the Weedville Wesleyan Church with Pastor Bryon Kleppinger. The family will be receiving friends at the church from 10 a.m. until the service time.
Interment will take place in the family plots in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Weedville, Pa.
