Alica Mae Gray was born May 6, 1937, in Caledonia, Elk County, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Lloyd B. "Chizzy" Gray Jane Matilda Wilt.

Alice married Richard "Dick" W. Roussell (1933-1985). Dick Roussell was a US Army 1SG (Retired) who entered the Army 29 Mar 1968, and retired 29 Jun 1973. Dick was a Vietnam Veteran, who was infected with meningitis while there, which he suffered from for the rest of his life. Alice took care of him, and lovingly doted over him until the end. During their marriage, Alice and Dick traveled back and fourth between the Weedville area of Pennsylvania and Augusta, Georgia (Ft Gordon), where they lived. After Dick Passed, Alice moved back to Byrnedale, to be near her family.

Alice and Dick never had children of her own, but they had many nieces and nephews that adored them.

Alice was ALWAYS cooking. LOVED to picnic, and have family for meals. The one thing you could always count on, is that if Alice was preparing food, there would be more than enough for everyone! Alice Roussell passed away November 6, 2009, in Byrnedale, Elk County, Pennsylvania, and is buried at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Mt Zion Road, Weedville, Pennsylvania.
