Bortell, Town of Malta, who died Friday night enroute to the Benedict Memorial Hospital, will be held at 2 p.m. today at the Bundy funeral home, Cobleskill. Mrs. Bortell, 56, wife of Walter H. Bortell, was a former resident of Cobleskill. She was an active member of the Malta Ridge grange and former officer and a member of the Ballston Spa Rebekah lodge. Rev. Walter Whitney, pastor of the Eastern Parkway Methodist Church of Schenectady, will officiate. Burial will be in the Cobleskill rural cemetery. Survivors besides her husband are, her father, Bryan Moore, Barnerville, NC; four sisters, Mrs. William Acker, Mrs. Norman Vander Vort, and Mrs. Robert Hess, all of Cobleskill, and Mrs. Robert Harrington, Montreal, Can.; a brother, Chauncey Moore, Palm City, Cal."
