Mrs. Evelyn Broadway Armstrong, 78, a resident of Montgomery, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2017.

A graveside service for Mrs. Armstrong will be held at 2:30 PM on Saturday, December 16, in Sardis Cemetery with Pastor Chad Harrison officiating and Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing.

Mrs. Armstrong was preceded in death by her husband, Woody Armstrong, parents, Johnny Julian and Bertha Mae Deavers Broadway, and two brothers, William Broadway and Hayward Broadway.

She is survived by her two children, David (Julie) Armstrong and Melissa (Chris) Bryan, four grandchildren, Bryant (Ida) Armstrong, Brittany Armstrong (Daniel) Simmons, Cessaley Bryan, and Courtland Bryan, three great-grandchildren, Brody Armstrong, Ellika Armstrong, and Hadley Simmons, two sisters, Edna (Barnett) King and Wilma (Wilburn) Bush, and two brothers, Johnny (Patricia) Broadway and Billy (Cathy) Broadway.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 1 – 2pm.
