Misty found her way to my house after many years as an outdoor feral cat without a colony. She was little & alone. She would come out from the yard or under my house to show herself and let me know she was hungry. I would see Misty off and on for years.

As life became more difficult Misty decided she would stay on my property. I fed her daily and spoke softy to her. Two weeks to the day after Monster passed, Misty had the courage to walk to my door. Although scared she walked into my kitchen. I quickly closed the door. From this day on Misty was an indoor only cat with a loving home.

Misty allowed me to pet her for a few seconds. She ate a good meal & let me pet her again. It only took a day for Misty to become addicted to this new thing she found: Affection. Misty loved me & I loved her. We were family.

A trip to the vet showed Misty needed her teeth cleaned and a few of her remaining teeth removed. She had an infection in her mouth. After a week of antibiotics, it was time for her dental tune-up. The rest of her life with me she would have the best veterinary care a cat could dream of, good food and lots of love.

Misty loved to lay on my desk. She could never have enough attention. Her tail would wag whenever I said "I Love You" or "Misty's A Good Girl". Both were true.

Misty was with me for four years. It was not enough. I begged to have her for forty more. Cancer took Misty from my life, but nothing will ever take her from my heart.

Misty is with the rest of my Animal Family awaiting the day God calls me home and we will all be reunited.
