Carol Taylor, 76 years, 3 months, 22 days old, passed away on December 3, 2017 at Cox South Hospital in Springfield, MO with her family by her side.

Carol was born August 11, 1941 in Douglas County, Missouri to Clarence Clifford and Vera Pearl (Greene) Cornelius.

Carol worked as a seamstress at Heagles for many years.

On September 4, 1968 Carol and Donald Jord Taylor were united in marriage at Lake Village, AR and to this union two children were born, Trampus and Teasha.

Carol attended Ava Assembly of God Church for many years. She enjoyed painting ceramics and spending time with her family. Music was also very impotant to her, and she wrote many gospel songs. She was an avid collector of pictures,especially photographs of her children and grandchildren. Her joy was her family, and nothing made her happier than a house full of family.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Don in 2015, one infant daughter, Regina, two brothers, Fred & Harold Cornelius, one sister, Vivian "Kathy" Evans, and two infant grandchildren, Tory Thomas and Kade Taylor.

She is survived by five children, Jamie Lynn Denney and husband David of Moscow Mills, MO, Richard Denney of Ozark, MO, Kimberly Thomas, Ava, MO, Trampus Taylor and wife, Rena, Ava, MO, and Teasha Davis, Ava, MO, ten grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, one brother , Jackie Cornelius, Ava, MO, three sisters, Wanda Fleetwood & husband Paul, Ava, MO, Becky Thomas, Miller, MO, and Charlotte Jones, Fair Grove, MO, and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Memorial services for Carol will be Monday, December 11, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home in Ava. Visitation will start at 1:00 pm. prior to service on Monday. Officiating will be Pastor Buddy Boyd. Burial of cremains will be in the Day Cemetery.
