Donald Taylor, 74 years, passed to Heaven on February 11, 2015 at Heart of the Ozarks Nursing Home, Ava MO.

Donald was born January 11, 1941 in Oak Grove, LA to A.C. and Marie (Broomley) Taylor.

Donald was a resident of the Ava community for many years after moving from Louisiana. On September 4, 1968 Donald and Carol Cornelius were united in marriage in Lake Village, Arkansas and to this union two children were born.

Donald was a retired mechanic. He was a Christian and attended the Ava Assembly of God.

Donald enjoyed woodworking, fishing and hunting. He loved being around his grandkids and great grandchildren.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents, his step mother Nonnie Mae Harris, 2 brothers, Gerald and Sam, 3 sisters, Betty Sue, Arlene, and Lou, and two grandchildren, Tory and Kade.

Donald is survived by his wife Carol, five children; Trampus Taylor, Teasha Davis, Jamie Denney, Richard Denney, and Kimberly Thomas, ten grandchildren, Taylor, Whitney, Reagan, Zach, David, Lauren, Nathan, Jessica, Heather, and Shawna, eight great grandchildren, Meya, Shalyn, Sierra, Ryan, Emma, Jordan, Kylee, Cadence, many nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial services for Donald will be Monday, February 16, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO. Officiating will be Pastor Buddy Boyd. Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital .
