After a long sickness, Mrs. E. Achterman died at her home, at 12:45 Sunday afternoon. Deceased was a member of the Catholic faith, and when health permitted, was a regular attendant of St. Boniface church.

She was born in Ginsweiler Germany, in 1834, and came to this country in 1856. Her husband preceded her to the beyond last January. She leaves two children, Mrs. Henry J. Gehring and Miss Dora Achterman. The funeral will take place Wednesday morning from St. Boniface church.

Mrs. Elizabeth Achterman, who died at No. 922 Maine street, was buried at 8 o'clock yesterday morning from St. Boniface church, Reverend M. Weis officiating, in the presence of a large gathering of acquaintances of the deceased and her surviving relatives. The interment was at St. Boniface cemetery.
