She was the youngest of seven children born to Rev. John and Susan Torrence of Stephens, Arkansas. She was married to the love of her life, Irvin Alexander Crews, Sr., for 60 years until his death in 2015.
Mary traveled the world with Irvin during his Air Force assignments.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband Irvin, and she was also preceded by her son Irvin A. Crews, Jr.; four sisters; and two brothers. Mary is survived by her beloved daughter Rosetta (David) Parker; beloved daughter-in-law Stephanie Crews; sister Millie Dell Russ of Milwaukee, WI; nieces Susie Stepter, Bridgette (Jeffrey) Sweat, and Shirley Loving; nephews Ronnie and Billie Wayne Williams, B.J. Johnson, and F.W. Woods; grandsons Irvin Crews, III, and Isaac Crews; granddaughter Alexis Crews; great-grandchildren Savannah, Trevon, Angelia, Nevaeh, Ainya, and Alexander Crews.
Private services were held Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017 at McCune Chapel in Vacaville. Private internment was Monday, Dec. 4, at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon.
