Dale Gibson “Speed” Heater, age 93 of Morning Sun, died Sunday October 29, 2017 at the Morning Sun Care Center. The son of Harold and Lily (Morgan) Heater, he was born August 16, 1924 at New London, Iowa. On March 7, 1942 he married Arlene Bowman at Kahoka, Missouri. He was a farmer and worked at the Iowa Army Ammunition Plant. He was a friend of the Methodist Church and was a member of the Louisa County Community Action. He was King of one liners, enjoyed mushroom hunting, making breakfast, can collecting, lawn mowing and always looking to help a neighbor out.

He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Juanita Jennings, and six siblings, Paul, Gilbert, Justus, Genive, Ida and Mary.
