Iris Aycock Hamilton, 79, of Cumming, Georgia passed away November 13, 2017 on Monday at her home. She was born in Brooklet, Georgia to the late William Lucian Aycock and the late Mamie Zella Cannady Aycock on June 8, 1938.
She held positions at Southern Bell, Cotton States Insurance and Munich American, where she retired. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Robert (Robbie) Dale Hamilton Jr. and a brother, William Lucian Aycock Jr.
Surviving are her husband of 59 years, Robert Dale Hamilton of Cumming, Ga.; son, Kevin Dale Hamilton (Sheila) of Madison, Ga.; daughter, Kourtney Hamilton Wexler (Andrew) of Alpharetta, Ga.; brother, Gilbert Aycock (Gwen) of Birmingham, AL; grandchildren, Eric Hamilton (Kristy), Holly Ulveling (Andrew), Hamilton Wexler, Ashlyn Wexler; great grandchildren, Elliot Hamilton, Owen Hamilton, Leah Ulveling, Hunter Ulveling, Kate Hamilton.
Mrs Hamilton was a member of Cumming 1st United Methodist Church and the Faithful Fellowship Sunday School Class. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 oclock Tuesday, November 14, at Ingram Funeral Home, 210 Ingram Ave., Cumming, Ga. The funeral will be at 11:00 o'clock Wednesday, November 15, in the Chapel.
Interment will be in Floral Hills Memory Gardens
