MARTIN, Wayne January 21, 1944 - November 11, 2017 Peacefully, surrounded by family after a lengthy journey through cancer into the presence of his Lord and Saviour at Ian Anderson Hospice. Husband and best friend of Shirley (Gingrich) Martin. Loving father of Doug and Cheryl, Steve and Michelle, Melissa and Shawn and Les and Heather. Blessed to enjoy 13 grandchildren; Gabe (fiance Alicia), Jessica, Grace, Rachel, Jordie, Maddie, Annie, Lilly, Thomas, William, Thea, Cole and Oliver. Brother to DorothyAnn (Joe) Leis, predeceased by his parents Sylvester and Annie Martin and brother David. We would like to thank the staff at Ian Anderson House for the exceptional care Wayne received. Friends and family will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home 11582 Trafalgar Rd., north of Maple Ave., Georgetown, 905-877-3631 on Tuesday, November 14th from 5-8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Living Hope Church 290 Main St. S. on Wednesday, November 15th, at 11:00 a.m. Interment Limehouse Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Limehouse.
