I am a United Church of Canada Minister who visited Pier 21 in Halifax several years ago and upon spotting "A Canadian is an immigrant with seniority" started my pursuit of our family story. Since then I have found family roots in 6 provinces... and countless countries... and this has confirmed my belief that it is never us and them, rather it is us... all of us, humanity. We are in this together. We are deeply connected and interconnected. We are resilient, adaptable, have known hardship, disease, intolerance... and yet we survive and thrive.

So I spend my down time... unraveling our shared story by visiting, recording, and transcribing cemeteries so you might better know your story! I've always loved doing jigsaw puzzles and this human puzzle is one that we complete together, for the benefit of us all!
