Cidonia (Mae) Theresa (Bettencourt) Cullison, 75, of Eufaula, OK, passed away March 17, 2004. She was born September 29, 1928 at Newman, California to Frank Perry Bettencourt and Onetta Pope.

Theresa lived in California until she married Leonard L. Hole and moved to Enid, OK where she completed High School in 1948. They had two daughters, Susan Irene Avants of Enid and Joyce L. Webb of Oklahoma City.

Theresa moved to Oklahoma City and married Charles Denham in 1953 and had a third daughter, Margaret (Maggie) E. Smith of Crowder, OK.

Theresa worked and was a Union member with Stevens Bindery. After graduating Blackwood Business College, she worked as a Loan Officer with Ponca City Savings and Loan in Oklahoma City until she retired in 1987.

Theresa married Richard A. Cullison in 1967 and they lived in Midwest City, OK, where they were active in the Wagonwheel Camping Association 1965 through 1975. When Richard retired from Tinker AFB in 1988, they moved to their vacation cabin in Eufaula, OK.

Theresa was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Eufaula and active with the women's group, where she enjoyed any form of sewing or arts and crafts; but, her greater love was being Nana to her seven grandchildren, Adonica, Stony, Austin and Joshua Avants of Enid, OK; Brenna Penrod, Casey Webb and Cheshire Hill of Oklahoma City; and twelve great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by sister Louise Bettencourt, brother Frank Bettencourt and husband, Richard.

Services will be held at the First United Methodist Church, 220 S. Main Street, Eufaula, OK on Thursday, 3/25/04 at 1 p.m.
