Mrs. Martha E. Drompp, 66, 125 East Main Street, died at 5 a.m. Saturday (22 March 1969) at St. Joseph's Hospital, Kokomo. Born 12 October 1902 in Royal Center, she was the daughter of Harvey and Minnie Everman Fry. Her marriage was to Dan Drompp, who survives.
She was formerly in the offices of the Utility Department and Health Department at the City Building. She was amember of the St. James Lutheran Church and was past president of the American Legion Auxiliary and a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary.
She belonged to the League of Women Voters, The Garden Club, Progressive Club, Golden Age Club, Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem and Order of the Aramanth.
Surviving with the husband, are the daughter, Mrs. Mary Lou Stevens, Bethel Park, Pennsylvania; a son, Jack, Winamc; 8 grandchildren; and a brother, Harvey Fry, Jr., Florida. Two sons, Dr. Ben Drompp and Robert Drompp, preceded her in death.
Friends may call afternoon today at Kroeher Funeral Home. Services will be there at 1:30 p.m. Monday with Pastor Alfred Gerni, officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
