ADOLPH FUHR
(1881-1955)
Adolph Fuhr, 74, Center St., Wheelersburg, died a 8:30 a.m. Sunday at the Riverview Manor Rest Home in Lucasville where he had been a patient for eight days. Death was attributed to a heart attack.
He was born July 23, 1881, at Idaho, Ohio, a son of William A. and Jane Fuhr.
Mr. Fuhr was a retired shoeworker who had been employed by the various shoe companies in Portsmuth. He had lived in Wheelersburg since 1942.
He is survived by two brothers, 5802 Gallia St., Sciotoville and Phillip, 607 John St. and a sister, Mrs. Mary Blatt of Ft. Wayne, Ind.
Services will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Harrison Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Teller officiating. Burial will be in Wheelersburg Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 tonight.
