Mr George Inman Cates of 114 Burks Rd, College Park, died Tuesday morning. Survived by his wife; daughter, Miss Jo Anne Cates; son, Mr Donald Cates; sisters, Mrs Alma Hawkins, Mrs J T George, Mrs H J Humphries; brothers, Mr R H Cates, Mr R B Cates and I L Cates. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 4 o'clock from the First Baptist Church, Forest Park, with remains placed in state at 3 o'clock. Rev Hoyt Farr will officiate. Interment, Tanners Cemetery. The following will act as pallbearers: Messrs Roy L Whatley, Roy H Wallace, T F Stone, W W Thompson, William B Eaves and G L Peek. Howard L Carmichael & Sons.
