Funeral services were conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Quist-Fairbanks Mortuary Chapel, for Leonard B. Jeffs, who died Sunday at his home, 95 East Center, of a heart attack.

He was born Jan. 6, 1904 in Mount Pleasant, a son of Ephraim N. and Martha Jane Zabriskie Jeffs. He received his education in the Mount Pleasant schools and married Loretta Florence Hunter at Shoshone, Idaho, September 23, 1933.

He lived in Mount Pleasant most of his life and came to Orem in 1950 where he has since made his home. He was a jeweler and watch repairman by trade, operating a store in Orem.

Surviving are his wife, four son, Wayne Jeffs, with the U.S. Navy, San Diego; Carley Jeffs, with the U.S. Navy Air Force, Hutchinson, Kan., and Eugene and David Jeffs, Orem; three sisters, Mrs. Vernie Johansen, Orem; Mrs. Loretta Black, Mount Pleasant, and Mrs. Ida Arrowsmith, Orem; and two brother, LeRoy Jess, Provo, and Jesse Jeffs, Orem.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. M.W. Roll. Burial was in the Orem City Cemetery.
