Funeral Services were held Wednesday afternoon in Mount Pleasant Second-Third Ward Chapel for Mrs. Loretta M. BLACK, 67, who died at an Orem rest home early Saturday morning following a lingering illness. Bishop Harold Winkler was in charge of the Services.

Mrs. BLACK was born in Castle Dale, in 1910, a daughter of Ephraim and Martha Zabriskie JEFFS. She married Roy MONROE in 1908 in Mount Pleasant, following his death she was married to Jack S. BLACK, in 1923 in Payson. He also preceded her in death. She was a member of the LDS Church.

Surviving are three sons and three daughters, Roy MONROE, Layton; Jack L. BLACK, Ross D. BLACK, Kearns; Mrs. Theo (Eva) JACKSON, Moroni; Mrs. Annie M. COATES and Mrs. Dorothy HANSEN, Mount Pleasant; seventeen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two brothers and two sisters, Roy JEFFS and Jesse JEFFS, Provo; Mrs. Ida ARROWSMITH and MRs. Vernie JOHANSEN, Oren.

Burial was in Mount Pleasant City Cemetery directed by Jacobs Mortuary.
