Ed was born May 4, 1947 in Benton Harbor to Edward D. Sr. & Yvonne (McGrane) Barlow. He graduated from St. Joseph Catholic High School, Loras College and the University of Notre Dame. On July 26, 1975, he married Linda Harder in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Ed started his career in Education, teaching Spanish and coaching the Debate and the Golf Teams at Campion Jesuit Prep in WI. Throughout his career, he was focused on creating a better world for the children of the World. He started his own company, Creating the Future, Inc. in 1983. He was a visionary who was asked to speak in every State in the Union, and many countries on several continents. His mission was to help individuals and organizations anticipate and plan for the 21st Century. In his spare time Ed was either raising money for some not-for profit organization, on the golf course at Berrien Hills, or playing tennis with his family.
