She was a charter member of the Central Baptist Church.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Central Baptist Church with the Rev. Lester Singleton officiating. Burial was in Little Elm Cemetery. Pallbearers were Lucius Cox, Jr.; L.O. Cox, Jr.; David F. Williams, Ira John Cox, Richard Cox and Jeffrey Simmons, Jr.
