Service for Talitha Cumi Anderson Whoberry, 100, of Denton, who died Saturday (April 9, 1983) at Sundial Nursing Home in Pilot Point, was to be at 11 a.m. today at Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Don Hendrickson officiating. Burial was to be at Oakwood Cemetery.

She was born in Lake Dallas, Nov. 6, 1882, the daughter of Thomas Lebern and Emily Jane Anderson, and married Abraham W. Whoberry in 1912 in Corinth. He died in 1942. She attended the Belton School in Denton County and was a member of the Corinth Baptist Church, which she joined in 1897. She was a homemaker.
