HARRY BECK.
Harry, the ten-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Streamer Beck, of Trade City, died January 13, of diphtheria. The boy had been sick for about six days but his condition was not regarded serious until the day before he died when a physician was called. He quickly determined that the child was suffering from diphtheria and antitoxin was administered at once in large quantities but death ensued. Interment was made Thursday morning.

The Punxsutawney Funeral Register contains the following entry: "Samuel Harrison Beck, died Jan. 13, 1915 in Trade City, aged 10Y 1M 16D; Died of Diphtheria; Funeral was arranged by Steamer Beck."
