Pearl O. Cropp

Pearl O. Cropp died on Friday, November 8, 1996, at the Emmanuel Nursing Home in Litchfield. She was 89.

Funeral services were on November 12 at the Grace United Methodist Church in Paynesville. Pastor Rie Koehn officiated. Hymns included "How Great Thou Art," "Amazing Grace," "The Old Rugged Cross," "What a Friend We Have In Jesus," and "Go Now In Peace." Karen Theel was the organist.

Honorary pallbearers were granddaughters, Julie Schultz, Connie Keller, Jennie Cropp, Sharon, Hiers, Dawn Cropp and Brenda Koch.

Grandsons serving as pallbearers were Larry Schultz, Dennis Keller, Ron Cropp, Jeff Hiers, Jeff Cropp and Martin Koch.

Interment was in Ebenezer Cemetery, Paynesville.

Pearl Ovilldia was born April 16, 1907, in Harvey Township in Meeker County to George and Emily (Hegg) Anderson. On Aug. 11, 1928, she married Roy Cropp. He preceded her in death on August 8, 1969.

Pearl is survived by one daughter, Joyce (and LeRoy) Schultz of Paynesville; a son, Merlin (and Betty) Cropp of Darwin; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Orville Anderson of Sisseton, SD; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; and seven brothers.

Arrangements were by the Anderson Mortuary, Paynesville.
