Herbert Self Burton, 87, passed away in his sleep Feb. 25, 2007. Born April 7, 1919 to Hardy Garr Burton and Florence May Self Burton in Salt Lake City, Utah. Married Florence May Schmidt, Feb. 5, 1945. Preceded in death by his wife, sister Sylvia, and brother Lyman. Survived by his children Kay (Erika) Burton, Rick (Colleen) Burton, and Sherri Burton. He has six grand-children and six great-grand-children. Herbert was a high priest in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, a member of the Orem, Utah Vermont 1st Ward. Graveside services will be held Monday, March 5, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Redwood Memorial, 6500 South Redwood Road, Salt Lake City, Utah. Prior to the services a viewing will be held starting at 10:00 a.m.
