Herman DeWitt Hall, 88, died last night at his home 401 North Elm.
Mr. Hall was born in Michigan, but had been a resident of Allen county for more than 44 years. He farmed five miles north of Iola for many years, but in the past few years he had been engaged in the transfer business in Iola.
He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Bessie Felten of Iola, and one sister, Mrs. Alice Buchanan of Osmond, Neb. His wife preceded him in death several years ago.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 Monday afternoon at the Releford funeral home with Rev. F.D. Clopine in charge. Burial will be in Highland cemetery.
