Edwin B. Hall
Funeral services for Edwin B. Hall, long-time resident of Nebraska who passed away last Friday, were held from the First Methodist church of Norfolk Sunday afternoon. Dr. A. O. Stinson, pastor, being in charge.
Mr. Hall was born in Manistee county, Michigan, Aug. 24, 1867., coming to Nebraska in 1885 and locating near Creighton. In 1889 he was married to Miss Henrietta Burdick and to this union, one daughter, Miss Edna Hall of Wichita, Kansas was born.
Mr. and Mrs. Hall resided in Plainview or that vicinity for many years where he was engaged in farming and stock raising. For several years he suffered from bad health, moving to Norfolk last July.
He was an active member in the Masonic Lodge and ever interested in the work of that order as well as for all things community related.
In addition to Mrs. Hall and daughter, he is survived by two brothers, Warren hall of Plainview, Hermann Hall of Iola, Kansas and one sister, Mrs. Alice (unreadable) of Osmond.
Burial was made in Prospect Hill cemetery.
