"Mrs Joe Snyder Dies at Home In Sawyer City - Mrs Rae Estella Snyder, 46, well known and highly respected resident of Sawyer City, died at the Bradford Hospital, Tuesday, Oct 21, at 4:40 am following an illness of several months' duration. She was born on May 12, 1901, at Cyclone. She was the daughter of the late Mr and Mrs James McIntyre, and had lived in Bradford and vicinity her entire life. She was a devout Christian and a member of the First Methodist church. Survivors include, besides her husband, Joseph W Snyder, three sons, Joseph W Snyder, Jr, of Warren, Jack M Snyder, of Bradford, and James L Snyder, at home, two daughters, Mrs Estella Witter of Custer City and Phyllis Jean Snyder, at home; five grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs Frank Walker, of Buffalo, NY, and Mrs Florence Fritz, Bradford. The remains were removed to the Koch-Chatley Memorial Chapel where friends are invited to call....Funeral services will be held at the Chapel, Thursday, Oct 23, at 1:30 pm with the Rev Clement Yinger, pastor of the First Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in the family plot in the Willow Dale Cemetery."
