"Jack M Snyder, 34, Former Bradford Resident, Is Dead - Jack M Snyder, 34, of Cleveland, Ohio, former Bradford resident and son of Joseph W Snyder of Bradford and the late Mrs Snyder, died at 2:30 pm Sunday in Presbyterian Hospital in Philadelphia. Death was attributed to complications following heart surgery performed about three weeks ago. Born here on April 25, 1924, he had made his home here practically his entire life. He was educated in Bradford schools and was married to the former Helen McGurn of Bradford. Mr Snyder worked in the local oil fields and also for Bovaird and Co, Lloyd Smith Co and the B B Electric Supply Co. He left Bradford in 1950 for Oil City to become associated with the Wally Electric Supply Co of that place. In 1953 he moved to Cleveland and was employed by the Federal Pacific Electric Co. He was a member of the Holy Family Church of Parma Heights, Ohio. Surviving besides his wife and father are two sons, Jack Jr, and Grant, both at home; two brothers, William Snyder, Bradford, and James Snyder, Jamestown, NY; two sisters, Mrs Estelle Witter, Jackson, Mich, and Mrs Phyllis McIntyre, Erie, and several nieces and nephews. The body will be brought to the Healy Funeral Home early Wednesday afternoon where friends may call. A prayer service will be conducted at Healy's at 8:30 am Thursday with a Requiem Mass in St Bernard's Church at 9 o'clock. Burial will be at the convenience of the family."

"Snyder Rites Held In Local Mortuary - Funeral services for Jack M Snyder, 34, of Cleveland, a former Bradfordian, were conducted at 8:30 am Thursday in the Healy Funeral Home and at 9 o'clock in St Bernard Church. Mr Snyder died Sunday in Presbyterian Hospital, Philadelphia, after having undergone heart surgery three weeks earlier. The Rev Frederick J Reilly, assistant pastor of St Bernard's, officiated, and Robert F Greeley was at the organ. The pallbearers were Daniel Smith, Robert McArthur, James Bathrick, Preston Cooley, James Holleran and William Martin. The Rev Edward Zeitler, also an assistant priest at St Bernard's, conducted the committal services in St Bernard's Cemetery."
