Mrs Rowena Buck, 95, died yesterday in an Evanston convalescent home. She was the widow of Randolph Buck, former Chicago Insurance man who died in 1933, and the daughter of General E Kirby-Smith, a general in the Confederate Army in the Civil War,
who was later Professor of mathematics and botany at the University of the South in Sewanee, Tenn.

She leaves two daughters, Mrs W O Coleman and Mrs Eugene Ackerman.

Services will be held in Sewanee, Tenn.
