Sally Marie Gooch, age 96 of Athens, passed away Sunday, July 16, 2017 at Limestone Health Facility. She was born February 11, 1921 in Limestone County, AL to Raz Adams and Mollie Echols Adams.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Thomas W Gooch, daughter-in-law, Joyce Leopard Gooch and several brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be Tuesday July 18, 2017 from 12:00 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home.
Service will be Tuesday July 18, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel with Charlie McAdams officiating.
Burial will be in Limestone Memorial Gardens.
She is survived by two sons, Wayne Gooch and Larry(June) Gooch both of Athens, two daughters, Judy(Franklin)Robertson and Linda McCurry of Athens. 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren.
