Diane Sampson Bush was born on June 12, 1953 to the union of Willie and Alberta Sampson of Tupelo, Miss.

Diane accepted Christ at an early age. She attended White Hill M.B. Church and later moved her membership to New Providence. She attended George Washington Carver High School and was in the graduating class of 1971. She later was employed by Mid-South Packers for 17 years.

Diane was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a woman that everyone loved and took to instantly. She never met a stranger.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Alberta and one great-granddaughter, Kloe Dyana Sampson.

She leaves to cherish her memories her companion of 25 years, Jerome Brunson of Tupelo; daughters, Charlotte (Rodney) McBride, Kimberly (Ronnie) Jeter and Monica Brown and son, Reggie Foster of Tupelo; grandchildren, Andre, Andrew, Shelli, Sean, Katracia, J.D., Alex, Asia, Swantezia and Christian all of Tupelo, Marquez of Oklahoma and Keenah (Michael) of Florida; great-grandchildren Jayden, Caleb, Brayden, Amiari, Kourtland, Carter, Jace, Aiden, Aubrey and Orien.

She also leaves to mourn brothers, Willie B., Jr. (Patricia) and Elton Sampson both of Tupelo and a host of nieces, newphews, relatives and friends.

"I fought a good fight but the fight wasn't mine to win. God has taken me home and I'll see you again."

Visitation will be held Thursday, July 20, 2017 from 3 until 6 p.m. at W. E. Pegues, Tupelo and will continue Friday, July 21, 2017 from 12 until 1 p.m. at New Providence Church with services to follow at 2 p.m. at New Providence Church. Graveside services will be in Porter Cemetery.
