Find A Grave is a fantastic cemetery registration site and is family friendly; however, it is not a family tree mechanism.
We have diligently collected genealogy information on our families for many years. Preserving our area families' history is of utmost importance and having area cemeteries documented is a desired goal. We try to respect and document our family, friends and community by setting up memorials on Find A Grave. I will not transfer any of my family; however, if I have set up a memorial for any of your family, See Find A Grave Guidelines concerning transfers. Corrections and suggestions are welcome by using the EDIT TAB on the memorial. Search before posting a memorial. PLEASE DO NOT DUPLICATE! Do not set up a duplicate memorial for the purposes of adding links or making corrections --- ASK the person that maintains the memorial. Please be sure that you set the memorial up in the "correct" cemetery. This will prevent the loss someone's time.
DO NOT COPY an individual's photo posted by the FUNERAL HOME, NEWSPAPER, NEWS MEDIA onto any memorials that I have posted. This is against the FAG Guidelines as they are from another website and these photos are COPYRIGHTED. Find A Grave says do not post a photo that you did not make yourself!
Please, Please, do not post death certificates.
Thank you all for your help in making corrections and links. It is my pleasure to help you in return.
