Elveria Marie Schiffelbein Lang, 73, Wichita (formerly of Topeka) died Mon., Oct. 31, 2005. Mrs. Lang was born May 21, 1932 in Topeka, the daughter of John and Barbara Puhl Schiffelbein.

She was married to Ernest Earl Lang, Sr. He preceded her in death on Nov. 2, 1986.

She lived in Topeka until 1991. She lived in Wamego for a short time and has since resided in Wichita.

Survivors include three children, Paul Lang (Deborah) Topeka, Cindy Calkins (Bill), Wamego, and Ernest Lang, Jr. (Beverly), Topeka; her brothers, Gregg Schifflebein, Charles Schiffelbein, and James Schiffelbein, all of Topeka; her sisters, Barbara Seibert, Topeka, Lucille Franks, Wichita, and Margaret Keen, Soldier, KS; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Rita Yustick and Cynthia Schiffelbein, and a brother, Michael Schiffelbein.

The Langs extend heartfelt thanks to Lucille and Larry Franks for their tender, loving care of our mother.

A memorial service for Mrs. Lang will be at 10 a.m. Thurs., Nov. 3, 2005, at Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home, 2801 SW Urish Rd. Inurnment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
