He died Wednesday, April 30, at a Dallas hospital after an apparent heart attach.
Mr. Schieffelbein was a sales representative for Kelly-Moore Paints in Dallas. He previously worked for Pittsburg Paints in Topeka.
He was born May 30, 1946 in Topeka, the son of John George & Barbara A Puhl Schieffelbein.
He was graduated from Topeka West High School in 1964 and attended Washburn University. He moved to Texas in 1979
and lived in Dallas area the past seven years.
His wife, Mrs. Charlene Roush Schieffelbein, survives.
Other survivors include three daughters, Christine Schieffelbein, Joelle Schieffelbein and Tara Schieffelbein, all at home; his mother, Mrs. Barbara Schieffelbein, Topeka; five sisters Mrs. Vera Lang, Ms. Rita Yustick, Mrs. Barbara Seibert and Mrs. Margaret Sheern, all of Topeka and Mrs. Lucille Franks, Wichita; and three brothers, John Schieffelbein, Charles Schieffelbein and James Schieffelbein, all of Topeka.
Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Mr. Schieffelbein will lie in state from 2 until 9 p.m. Friday at Brennan Funeral Home where a parish prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday. Memorial Heart Assoc., 5375 W. 7th.
