He was formerly of Brothertown.
Born February 20, 1917 in the town of Brothertown, he was a son of John and Ruby LaPreiere Lavey. He farmed in the Brothertown area until retirement in 1964. Mr. Lavey served in the U.S. Army.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Marvin (Darlene) Boese of Oshkosh, Mrs. Roger (Doris) Evenson of Kiel, and R. Diane Corbin of Jacksonville, Florida, a son, Delmar of West Bend; nine grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Leona Mattes of Appleton, Mrs. Genevieve Mattes and Mrs. Ruth Ruggles, both of Sheboygan; and two brothers, Roland of Brothertown and Robert, living in Florida. Two brothers preceded him in death.
The funeral service was Monday at Wieting Funeral Home in Chilton. Burial was in Brothertown Union Cemetery.
