A lifetime farmer, John Schacher, Rt. 2, died Thursday evening in the Columbus Hospital at the age of 75.
Saturday 1:30 p.m. services are scheduled at Gass-Haney Funeral Chapel, where visitation begins at 4 p.m. today. Rev. John McGee will officiate the funeral.
Mr. Schacher was born Feb. 4, 1902 to Joseph and Marie (Eggli) Schacher, attended Platte County District 44 School and spent his lifetime on the family homestead. He was afflitiated with United Church of Christ.
Survivors include his sister Rose Kiuntke of Columbus; nephews, Walter and Norman Kiuntke; nieces, Mrs. Paul (Clara) Knopick and Elsie Mazuch of Columbus, Mrs. John (Florence) Leick of Himphrey, Mrrs. Darwin (Mila) Andersen of Council Bluffs, Iowa.
His parents and sister, Martha Mueller preceded him in death.
